ive been looking for key's like this for a while, does anyone know if this kit would even work? how can they sell a full car alarm with 2 keys and all those options for $39 us?

i would think you get them cut like normal keys, except they flip? i want a key like that!

"switchblade" style.

Easy solution: Buy a VW :D
Not allowed to take the key's onto a plane though....there was a story a while back about security not allowing a guy to take his VW key with him. Might hijack a plane with that thing you know...

^^I actually went through security with mine last week... They made me pull out my keys every time to ensure that they were keys but they did not take them away...
On topic- I bought a similar kit to that off ebay for my VW except it was just a keyless unit, not an alarm. I installed it myself and it works great... I paid closer to 100 bucks though. I had to get a normal spare key cut and then mod it with a dremel to fit into the switchblade unit. My guess is this one would be the same way.
