Job Shadow

Hey do any of you guys work in a engineering or architectural firm of some sorts? I need to do a job shadow for a high school course so if you guys know any companies that would be cool for this gimme a shout.

Just google for local firms. Call people and tell them that you're interested in doing that as a career and you would like to job shadow someone in the industry. I bet it doesn't take 5 calls before someone invites you into their office. I wouldn't be surprised if the connections you make also turned into a part-time job.

If somebody says "NO", just pick up the phone and call the next on the list. DO IT!
