I noticed the roads cleared up, even though it's still cold.

So on my way to school, just a short stride down 68th NE and a straight shot down 16th from there (I go to SAIT). I saw quite a few riced cars, including a 99-00 Civic SiR with body kit, huge spolier, tint all around and performance gauges on the inside.

Here's a few (some are dirty, meaning they were out for winter, driven or not)

This one is in the parking lot with an in transit sign (license?)

in transit means you can drive the w/o a liscence plate its supposed to be to transport the car from were you bought it to your place but not alot of people do that

I just choose to have cars not kids that's all.. :) And honestly, I got the Focus just because the golf winter beater that i had couldn't handle more than a couple days without having something wrong so it was more benefitial to get something new. But honestly, you put a grand down on a winter car you'd never have to worry about killing your "summer" car.

I think it's hard to avoid rocks no matter what season, sure there's more in the winter but it's not like it's avoidable in the summer.

rock are put down as opposed to salt to add... grip... to the road... when the roads are street cleaned in the spring, all the rocks are swept up with them, making it easier on the paint jobs

Seriously I have one or two rock chips on my bumper and thats it. Maybe I'm just lucky.... plus i dont drive on deerfoot at all... maybe that helps.
