Aparently this shows "2.0T and 3.2 V6 engine choices" from their secret launch of the car thanks to someones crappy cell phone cam.

quite fugly
Well I think the body shape is still in developing stages. (Obvisiously with all the tape and stuff) They're probably just testing it the chassis, ride comfort and engine performance or things of that sort. Theres no way Audi is stupid enough to make tailights that ugly

Yuk :barf: ..
But I never even liked the old one, so :whocares:
even with the tape off I don't think it'll make that big of a style impression

not a big fan, I would expect something better from Audi, I like the old one better
I actually don't mind it. It looks friggen horrible right now in test conditions. But i'm sure once it's all cleaned up and tuned it will look alot nicer. I see alot of potential if it was a little bit lower and sleaker.

Yay! Good to know it's NOT going to look like a VW (Scirocco, Corrado) like a past thread was suggesting. Other than the fact that it's going to keep close to it's original shape, you can't tell how it's really going to look from these images with all the disguise cladding.

That car looks terrible, perhaps is the camo, but at this point a dissappointement for me...

Still one of the ugliest cars ever made. Right up there with the Aztec and the Sunfire :barf:

are you guys kidding me? they obviously put extra plastic to cover up the lights and bumpers in the spy photos.
the hype? its the only sport 2 door they have for now (audi A5 coming soon) but that car is sick.. trust me. its gonna be hot.

So, is this one gonna flip over at speed and kill people too like the last one did? At least until they added that spoiler on the back to keep the ass end down.

I also like it. They kept alot of the good features from the first and improved upon the not so great ones.

The essence of cool. I can't wait to see one in the flesh.

Audi makes kick ass interiors, but always lacks in exterior design. I think it's ugly, aside from the front end.

Definately looks better in the official photos...
I just wish it was a little MORE that was changed about it. It looks merely evolutionary in design language to me.
All I can say, is the current roadster is a heck of a lot of fun to drive. I say the roadster over the coupe because you can put the top down. With the top down- I don't give myself a concussion getting in and out of the thing! That roof curves out and down so much, its next to impossible to avoid!

Looks way too similar to the old TT, I dont get their "beetle" inspired styling. Hopefully this one doesnt share the beetle chassis.

I was hoping they would stick with the "shooting brake" concept they released a few months ago. Google it, I think that is far cooler, plus it is a new styling direction for the TT, this on the other hand looks exactly the same as a side profile, just new headlights/grill treatment.

does anyone know if it comes as a convertible/targa top maybe?
habsfan

last i read was a convertible is supposed to launch sometime after the coupe, and there could also be a shooting brake body style as well.

the whole VW to Bentley relationship leading to the VW AUDI connection is sooo there.
You can see styling cues from the Bentley GT rear in the new TT back. http://www.autointell.com/european_companies/rolls-royce-bentley/bentley-continental-gt/bentley-continental-rear-350-227.jpg

^ I think it kinda looks nothing like the Bentley.
The TT in image you're citing is covered in disguise cladding. Check out the entire thread (this one is barely 2 pages), it helps.
Here's the real '07 TT rear.

Pretty nice Audi. Definitly like the new TT better than the old one.

From the pic I saw on Magazine ( vs Brera ) looks diff ..
anyway .... since we are not in Europe .. can't get the Awesome Brera ... TT is not a bad choice .. :)
