View Full Version : Are there any stock supercharged GrandAm?

I've now heard 2 different people claiming that they've got a supercharged GrandAm straight out of the factory... Of course at first I laughed at the fact that I think they read the Grandprix brouchure and bought the GrandAm thinking it's a cheaper version of the same car... But just so I know for sure, anyone know of this as a fact? I highly doubt that GM would make two similiar cars with superchargers that'd compete with each other...

I believe it's the Grand Prix GTP that's supercharged. There are no supercharged Grand Am's, I don't think.

ya the gtp is the only supercharged one lots of horsepower, but heavy as hell and onyl comes in auto :thumbsdow

no the grand prix is the gtp, the grand am doesnt have a gtp model

yOU USE TO BE ABLE TO BUY A FACTORY SUPERCHARGER FOR THE GRANDAM'S BUT WAS CANCELLED DIDN'T SELL VERY WELL THERE ARE SOME SUPERCHARGED GRANDAM'S AROUND BUT MOSTLY IN THE STATES

GM was actually going to make a supercharged Grandam Called teh Sc/t but it never made it to production. They sold a supercharger through the dealers for about six months that if installed at a dealer had the full 3 year/60000km warranty. U can get aftermarket supercharger thru RSM Racing 250hp@flywheel on stock motor
