Didn't Bugatti actually lose money on each one they made? I remember hearing that they costed around 5mil to make, when they only sold them for 1.1 ?

yup they sure did

It was only made to showcase the current level of vehicle technology, and what could be accomplished with it.
Many speculate that there will never be another car like it and it will be at least 10 years before some one designs something that will supersede it:thumbsup:

They do lose money, but you've got the figures wrong. The Veyron sells for 1.7 mil (roughly) CAD, but it costs roughly 10 million (!) to make each one. But it's worth it!!
