Anyone know anything about wakeboard boats??????

Anyone hear of yamaha making a boat called "mamba or momba" i can find momba boats but i belive this boat was made by yamaha. this is a guess

all the info i know about this boat is a guess but trying to track it down:

red and white
2 jet motors made by yamaha
ezload trailer sold with it
momba ski bar?
wakeboard boat


Any help would be great!!!!

Malibu's make for awsome wakeboarding boats, depending on your price range.

My buddy siad his dad has a new toy out their, he won't tell me what it is exactly besides itsfaster then the last one and since we always used to screw around on the boats then I'm assuming its that.

All depends on your price range though as well, what kind of money you looking at spending? New or Used?

Moomba makes some wakeboard specific boats, I know quite a bit about boats as that is teh reason I have a shitty car lol.

i thought moomba was owned by supra, its a just a less expensive version of a supra, and u would definately want a nice v8 in a wakeboard boat for the extra torque and the weight is important, the more weight in the boat the better wakes u will get!:thumbsup:

Okay i just found out the boat is made from yamaha but has moomba ski bar and what not.

Anyone have a clue what the name of the boat is?

I know it has 2 yamaha jet drive motors duhhh

and its red and white...total hp i dont know...

im dying to take the drive out there to go get but have to wait for the guy to call me.

JET BOATS ARE FOR SPEED!

If you want a ski/wakeboard boat it HAS to be an inboard motor with prop. There simply isn't anything else.

doe sit have ballasts or anything that would make it a half decent wakeboard boat? if not your not gonn ahave much fun wakeboarding behind it unless u wanna go over a tiny wake^^^

i got a 05 tige 22v and its alright no complaints yet,


if you plan on doing wakeboarding alot a jet boat with a ski pole isnt the way to go, get a boat with v drive if you can and a tower makes a huge differnce if you have to go a little older

i belive thats the boat but he bought a bunch of goodies for it...i just pulled that picture from google....

the model is SR-230 either way not bad for a boat thats got 13hrs on it

it does look like a nice boat but for wakeboarding having ballast or a plate makes a huge differnce, for a starter if its got a tower toss some fat sacks in the back and your good to go

Well no, I havent ridden behind a supra yet, skiied once, and that was enough to tell me I would never buy one. Rode behind/ driven Mastercraft, Malibu, Moomba, and Nautique. Have you?

I worked for Mobius Marine for a few years, and was sponsored by them for a few more... (Wakeboarding)

If you plan on doing any amount of serious wakeboarding, you do NOT want any boat with Jet propulsion... They key part of a wakeboard boat is the wake kicked up by the propellors.. something I have yet to see a jet properly do. I really dont get the Sea-Doo wakeboard boats...

Depends whether you are talking about skiing or wakeboarding.. Nautique hasn't really grasped the whole "riding" mentality... great ski boats.. but dont really care for them as wakeboard boats..
Moomba makes entry level wakeboard and ski boats... great quality for what you pay for, that being said you cant compare them to 60--70k boats... like comparing a Toyota to a Lexus.
