At tonights 403 meet, whats the story, anyone else see/hear that thing. Sounded something fierce, had dual exhaust, one in front of each rear tire, anyone know what mods is this guy sporting? I know it had a heat shield loose.:dunno:

I've seen that car!!! It was at one of the beyond meets during reading week in Feb. I was totally like WTF is up with that side exhaust. And seriously it looked like his car was going to fall apart any second.

Sorry, but that crx is ugly as fuck, sounds like shit, and doesn't seem too fast to me. IMO. Dont go driving around at full throttle thinking you are king shit, with 2 or 3 passengers crammed into your 2 seater car.

I saw that crx last year at race city.. He was going hard on that thing, major burn outs on the burn out strip, and dropped it HARD off the line... As far as I remember my crappy probe pulled a second better then he did... doesnt seem fast if you ask me :dunno:

what size of motor is in the probe, and it was only a second faster then my then oil burning 1.5l dx engine. now it has si injection and a motor that does not burn oil. It will run 16's stock hopefully next weekend

If you can't run 16's in a CRX, then that's pretty sad. My best time was a 16.3 two years ago, first time at the track. Full interior and everything, but now I'm stripped, and a much better driver. :D

Well it's not like he swapped in a B-series motor or anything. A DX model is like a 19sec car, so swapping in an Si engine and running 16's isn't too bad, for a cheap swap.
