That guy looks more like 5'3  Some of the riders one this site will be able to tell you for sure, but if you get the chance, head down to one of the cycle shops and sit on the actual bikes!

You're fine at 5'7 man, dont worry about it. Im sure the guy in the pic is only about 5 ft! Even if it is a little tall for you, you can have lowering links installed to drop the ride height.

You should be OK. Some bikes are lower than others, go check some bikes out!!

i'm 5'4 and riding a gsx'r is pretty tough ahah... but it matters on your inseam height tooo maybe you have incredibly long legs like stacy keibler  haha.

But the newer gixxer's are going for the slim like a mofo approach the 2005 1000's are the easiest thing for me to hop on in i can flat foot it no problem and then some (can't even on my current bike haha).

I believe they changed the new gixxer's too to match the frame dimensions etc of the 1000... So you'll be fine. But if your looking pre 2005 you should just hop on it and try it.

To tell you the truth i think that the seat height on the new 600, and 750's may be a little higher than the 1000. :dunno:

My Fiancee is 5'4" and rides a 600 just fine, she's a little tip-toed but not bad.

The R6 is has the highest seat out of the sport bikes (CBR, GSXR and NINJA) by about an inch and a half.
