There will be a boxing ring in the new Gold's in the NE, but I'm sure it's not going to be incredibly specialized or anything... but pure regulation boxing ring.

National Sports Development is a good place if your looking for boxing instructions/a good workout (shitload of cardio) Dale Brown who is a professional boxer, is the trainer and I think they do beginner to advanced lessons, and 1 on 1 lessons.

Out of all the clubs in calgary i recommend this one. I've been boxing for about 1.5 years with a club in Regina and Impact always puts on great shows and has great fighters. Loui's fighters are always in some of the best shape of any guys out there.

The 1 on 1 lessons are $60/hour. Dale is a very talented fighter and a great trainer. They also have group classes, I would recommend NSD if you are just looking to get into boxer shape and don't want to compete.
