ok i have been saving up my money for years and now its time to spend it on a car. i have $15 000 to spend and i dont know what i should buy.

i was gonna buy a truck but i have since changed my mind and now i want a car. Any car that is easy to maintain and is fun to drive but mostly just a fast car, becasue i have driven slow cars all my life.

nothing flashly just all go and no show. i am even considering importing a car but i am not sure on how much that will cost me. plus i think getting replacment parts would be a bitch. My first choice would be a 1989 or 1990 skyline. any good?

What are some of your guys opinions on what i should buy?

I was like you at a time in my life, wanted a fast car and all that jazz and ended up spending WAY WAY too much souping up my car and now have nothing to show, when I could of had an okay car and pimp house with all the fixins....but if ur still bent on buyin a fast car...buy my 240...Skylines are everywhere nowadays...

i agree...but wanting a fast car and buying a KA powered 240 instead of a skyline, is a huge step backwards HAHAHAHAHA
(PS: dont start on the 'honda-has-no-torque' jokes on me, you rat bastard)

$15,000 is a lot of cash - I know you want to get a car but damn that's a good start for a downpayment on place to live in a few years haha. How old are you? If I had that money and HAD to get a car I'd take 8-10K and use that as a downpayment for a new vehicle. You'd have it paid off in half the time and at least have something with (potentially) more value than a used import car. My 2 cents :D

his car is almost stock. i would consider chris's car. he took care of that silvia and with the extra $5000 you can have a fast little car.

yes i was thinking about a new Cobalt or something but i have only ever owned domestic vehicles and i have had nothing but trouble with them.

i am still really young so maybe i will just save it for a house.

Houses are extremely expensive right now. Lots of people just buying them to flip them.
