I don't think it is illegal at all. I have an FBI shirt that I wear often enuff. no one, including cops have said anything about it, and I know alot of people in the CPS and RCMP....

It's when you excercise or attempt to excersize powers which law enforcement has while wearing that which will get you in shit.

Impostering a member of law enforcement is bad news, but, if it's purely a fasion thing and you dont walk around like you're king shit of turd island trying to boss people around and reap benefits, well then all the power to ya.
