CALGARY POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE
The Calgary Police Service is requesting the public's
assistance to identify a person wanted in connection with
several car prowling incidents.
On Thursday, March 9, 2006, at 8:30 a.m., three vehicles,
parked in the Westside Recreational Centre parking lot,
located at 2000 69 Street S.W., were broken into and had
property stolen from them.
The culprit in these three incidents is described as a
Caucasian male, 35 to 45 years old, with collar length brown
hair, a medium build and clean shaven. He was wearing a grey
fleece zipper front jacket, light blue jeans, white high top
runners, a burgundy shirt, black and white gloves and
sunglasses resting on his head.
The culprit is believed to have left the scene in a late
1990s or early 2000s white Land Rover. The vehicle is a 4
-door model with a roof rack, spare tire on the back, and two
sunroofs.
Anyone with information regarding this incident or on the
identity of the culprit responsible is asked to contact
Acting Sergeant Paul Wyatt or Constable Darren Lepp in the
District 2 office at 249-7701, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222
-TIPS (8477).
The public is reminded to report any suspicious activity to
police at 266-1234 or, should a crime in progress be
witnessed, call 9-1-1 immediately.
