Hi guys,
I'm about to move to Canada from Germany and I want to take a car with me. A Mercedes Benz W201-190E. I've read that DRL are mandatory in Canada.

Does anyone know a direct distributor of DRLs for the above model (offering international shipping) and the required setup for a manual switched car?

I have read that the low beams, external marker lamps, and interior panel lights come on automatically when the car is shifted out of P, what about manual?

Thanks a lot

What year is your car? DRL's are only required for newer cars being imported.

It is an 1987 model. Is this regulation coincident with the import regulations? I've read that only cars older than 15 yrs may be imported to Canada from overseas.

I am 99.9% sure that your car will not require DRL's since it is more than XX years old. I just can't remember what the exact number is.

You don't apply to that rule. Its 15 years and older that don't have to worry.
