A few videos this round :

SLK Drift (http://www.virgeweb.com/rage2/events/solo2e6e7/slkdrift.wmv) - My SLK 320 drifting clip
SLK Runs #2 and #4 (http://www.virgeweb.com/rage2/events/solo2e6e7/slkruns.wmv) - Rookie mistake, didn't know you're allowed to go OUTSIDE the lines!
Miscellaneous Action (http://www.virgeweb.com/rage2/events/solo2e6e7/misc.wmv) - speedracer's sheared off wheel bolts on the highway (ouch!), plus a few cars in action at the start.

As usual, right click, save to hard drive before viewing.

I liked the drift vid. Any plans on getting shots from the outside?

Yea, just gotta find a venue safe enough to do drifting without damaging the car if I fuck up... =). I don't trust my skills drifting on the roadcourse just yet!

It wasn't so bad.... :banghead: could've been worst. :D

It kind of an upgrade to fender flares... Wider tires = more traction right?

Yeah, I'm pretty poor now :(

At least you got the car fixed so you could still run

Thats why I have not been at solo2 lately, I overtightened my lugs and went to take my wheels off and busted 5 different lug studs. Now I'm nervous because I didn't replace all of them and I don't want to loose a wheel.

Well, in my case that could have been the case when I got my new wheels re mounted. This is the only time it's never seen a torque wrench. So I :dunno: . And yes, the wheels were torqued before I left.

The damage isn't that bad after having the car on the hoist. I need to replace a few bolts and the fender damage is pretty minimal. THe fact I was able to still race is  was cool. I even got a placing. Not a very competitive as the handling is pretty bad but I'll accept 3rd
