A few videos this round :

Zinc/Lola Racecar (http://www.virgeweb.com/rage2/events/solo2e6e7/brianruns.wmv) - Awesome footage of Brian S's Zinc/Lola beast! 2 runs with forward facing camera, 2 runs with rear facing camera. AWESOME!
Ryan's Runs (http://www.virgeweb.com/rage2/events/solo2e6e7/ryanruns.wmv) - really cool camera angles (pedals, shifter, steering)
Quentin's Runs (http://www.virgeweb.com/rage2/events/solo2e6e7/quentinruns.wmv) - same as above, different driver
Drifts in the AE86 (http://www.virgeweb.com/rage2/events/solo2e6e7/ae86drift.wmv) - some cool shots

As usual, right click, save to hard drive before viewing.

That was a cool vid, finally got a few minutes to sit down and watch it. I thought the camera facing rearward was pretty cool, definetly a different way to view the course :)

Good videos. Hehe looks like we need someone with another camcord too so you can record both feeds at the same time :)

Is there any camera mounts that would fit my car or pretty much make my own Alum one?

Finally took a look at the vids... looks like pretty much 2nd gear the whole way, with a little bit of 3rd... how similar is that to the south-end road course at race city? I thought it would be more involved than that...

Well the mount that I have, it mounts on rollbars the best (even the spongy ones in the SLK). I mounted it to the bodywork on the AE86 for the vids.

The roadcourse parts you hit 3rd gear. 4th gear for some cars.

The camera mounts are available for $180-200, depending on how many people want them. If you want to see what they are like, buh_buh will get his soon :)

I don't think my car would make it fast enough to hit 4th... :banghead: :D

There's also this for camera mounts:

From:http://www.ioportracing.com/video.htm

But Rage's solution is cheaper IMO and since it didn't fall off in the Zola it's pretty good in my books :)

Davan: Sure you can run 4 th gear - just won't be veryu fast

Actually before turn 6 I'm in 4th gear already but that's another story.
