Looking for a tiny tiny turbo... something small enough for a 50cc engine to spool up :D

I was looking at the Jonsered Chainsaws.. alot of them have a turbocharger on the 50cc-60cc models.. not sure where I could get a used one...

Any other ideas where I could find a turbo that size? thanks :)

Hook up a battery-operated leaf blower.

ya its for a watercooled 911 replica.. getting the big bore kit/clutch/exhaust/carburator/race tires but i would love to do up a simple turbo setup for it :)

here is a link to one of the turbo 2-stroke chainsaws:

i wanted to do the same, but someone who has done it told me it was extremely difficult due to the reeds that pocket bikes use :dunno:

i also hear 2-strokes are tricky because the intake and exhausts valves are opened at the same time during part of the cycle.. but they seem to be able to do it with 2-stroke chainsaws and 2-stroke snowmobiles...

anyone here experienced with forced induction on a 2-stroke engine?

Being a guy fron a B.C. logging town and owning several chainsaws a turbo on a chain saw is impossible, look at the pic all it is a fan that blows air through the filter cleaning wood debris from the intake/carb area and moving air through the carb that is cleaner... good luck however you might try older volvos as the turbo's on them are quite small...:burnout: :burnout:
