Can someone explain to me the differences between firmware on PSPs?

And is it true you can downgrade 2.0 to 1.5?

1.5 can play homebrew .. and yes u can downgrade from 2 to 1.5

home made programs, programs that will run games or what ever you put on your memory card. Run emulators for PSP Nintendo Sega what ever.

Can someone PM me the links to all this psp fun stuff. I would like to downgrade mine, but I have heard of currupted firmware's out there. I am a psp noob. :)

It probably wasn't the best idea to buy a memory stick off Ebay unfortunately. They are all pretty much fake.
