Yeah im super pumped for this movie. I read the book a couple months ago as well as the non-fiction work it is based on, "Holy Blood Holy Grail". Very thought provoking stuff.

Will, if you read the book, then you'll know what the movie is about. duh. But I'm leery of the movie, the book was very thought provoking, and Hollywood seems to have a way of taking great stories and screwing them up on film.

There's no point in going to see this movie if you're expecting it to be as good as the book. The movie will undoubtably change some things around to make the story better suited for the screen, so it will be different from the book in ways people may or may not like. Go watch it for what it is - a movie adaptation of a story originally written.

Me too. But I did read this one; probably the first fictional book I read in 7+ years.

I expect the movie to be just as good, if not better than the book because I have a shitty imagination when reading novels. ;)

ooo! Tom Hanks' finest hour?

possibly, but nothing will beat forrest gump and saving private ryan.

Ron howard is a damn good director, but way better actor,

a la Happy Days.

The book was awesome...not really anticipating the movie to be as good but should do pretty well. Waiting to finally see what i was reading with sight and sound.
