Just a fan or the heatsink too? If just the fan, what size do you want?

If you're having problems with your motherboard due to a 2-pin fan not being recognized, you could plug the case fan (if it's 3 pin)in where the CPU fan should go and switch them around. I had that problem with a low-flo panaflo fan a while back and just swapped the wires as heat wasn't an issue.

i opened up my computer
saw all this dust
i grabbed my vacuumed and vacuumed all the dust out..
and now it won't boot..
i read my manual that if hte fan don't work the comp won't boot..
replaced it and it still doesn't work..

Sorry I didn't get back to you.

Vacuum's and computer innards don't mix. You might have fried something with a little static discharge, or if you smacked something with the vacuum you could have broken something that way.

What exactly happens when you try to boot, if anything? Also, system specs would help.

well when i plug the comp in
i can see a green LED turn on.. and when i press hte power button nothing happens at all
i removed all the wiring/card left hte cpu and ram on and tried to power it it doesn't do anything
probably fried the mother board or power supply died..
haha i wanna try a poer supply to seeif it that before i spend 100 on a mother board

Is there a videocard? Might want to leave that plugged in. Hard drive too. And where's the green LED? On the motherboard or on the case?
