First Viper sighting of the season (for me, anyways)!

Hey guys ... so I was driving in my neighborhood today and saw a nice red Viper parked on the street. I don't think they owner lives around here as I've never seen the car in the 13 years living here. Probably a friend of somebody here OR somebody struck GOLD!!!! Anyhoo, thought I'd snap a couple of pics for you guys. I have no idea what year, trim, etc as I'm a complete Viper-noob. I personally haven't seen many Vipers in Calgary, so it was a welcome event. Now if I can just get some pics of that Ferrari that zooms by on occassion.

Ok silly me ... I just had a closer look at the pics and noticed that the exhaust is coming out on the sides of the car. WTF! Never knew that! Like I said ... complete Viper-nnob.

i am 90% positive i rode in this Viper like 4 years ago...unless someone else also has an older, red, soft top viper in town

IF THIS IS the same guy he got it as a wedding present type deal...a trade in of some vehicle plus the difference "given to him" or something along those lines

and jeezus, it had some form of forced induction cause it whistle like a bitch..

Sorry! I thought I was being general enough.:)

The only other Viper I've seen in Calgary sounds very similar to the one you saw Snowboard ... it was zooming around Kensington. Now if we're talking about Toronto, Vipers are a dime a dozen up in Yorkville.

There's a guy down by me in the SW who drove his black GTS (older) thru the winter this year! It would be snowing and crud all over the road, and you would see this GTS roaring by. True enthusiast because every day that thing was nice and clean.

My buddy has been driving his around lately. Its a 2001 blue RT/10.

Usually I see the odd one when I'm out cruising in the stang, of course its always in my rear view mirror.

uhh, pretty much every older Viper looked like that. There are tons of those in Calgary.

The s/c viper ACR on the davenport page was at the beyond booth a year or 2 ago.

Last 1-2 weeks, seeing all the newer Viper everywhere, however, rare to see those old viper anymore. I like the new Viper more, however, the old one is more "unique" :thumbsup:
