i have a friend hes looking at a new car and he has a good amount to spend. hes looking at a new car and he narrowed it down to the choices. anyone have any suggestions on which one to get. money isn't much of a issue considering the fact hes manager at a isp company right now.

350Z?
EVO VIII?

or wait for the STi
or the RX8?

I don't know, those lancer evo's look pretty pimp imo. I think they are the nicest, and the perform well too

the STi....because the performance you're getting out of it. HP, TQ, suspension, brakes....and the price of the car....best bang for your buck IMO...like 45-50k you wouldnt have to touch the engine at all.....but the downside to it if you like music and all that stuff....you wont get one...the STi comes without a stereo (because they want to save weight), but im sure theres a package where it includes it, or else buy an aftermarket one.

In Canada, they do come with a stereo from the factory. Not sure about the US though.

Isn't the Mazdaspeed version of the RX-8 around the same base base price as the STi?

You can guess what I picked. :)

I dont like the Evo 8's...their a step down from the Evo 7's...and the like, 100 horse power loss or something like that...Insanely high...
I voted for STi...But STi/350z are close in my books :)

STi or RX-8, just for the sake that its ( the RX-8) about 10-15k cheaper

STI is a very nice package from the factory. I'd prolly go for that if I were to have the funds, but really have to see what the rx8 is like though. Mmmm... rotary :burnout:

Those EVO engines are beastly turbo machines, But the dash board needs some work..looks kinda like a focus dash.

It's a hard choice.

well its pretty obvious, however, the sti and evo is in a different class, they are sports sedan.. where as they other are sports coupe to sports car 350z.. and for sure the sedans are way more practical especially in winter ^^

yeah but the Renesis is engine is NA not FI, that's what makes it sweet for a street driven car IMO

Well my vote is going to be for the STi if you can afford the $$ and wait.
If you can't wait, the 350Z is out too....18month waiting list.

I'd take either of those cars....

The EVO, IMHO, is ok looking from the outside but cheap as hell looking in the inside. That's a lot of money to be spending on a car only to get a very ordinary looking interior.
