Snow in the passes?

I am driving out Nelson BC in about 1 week and will be going through a couple passes (Salmo which is pretty high up).

Does anyone think there might be a chance of snow? I was hoping to put my summer tires on. I am going easter weekend if that helps.

honestly there's a (good) chance of snow all year round in the passes.. 2 years ago I went thru the pass in August on the bike and saw some flakes!! BRR! You're best to check the highway reports and play it by ear closer to the weekend.
