-any make of (roughly) 600CC bike
-1997 or newer
-max price about $6500

Potential buyer is in Edmonton, coming to Calgary or wherever isn't a big issue.

if your buddy wants a bit of a project bike I have a 2000 gsxr 600 with 2 engines and parts engine, basically just needs lights to be street legal. its a track bike with some beat up plastic but clean title $2500
