I searched and could not find anything on this here.
I am with Waterhouse and they charge $60 a trade which is rape. Does anyone use one of these online discount brokers that say they charge much less, like $7 for Scottrade.
Post here for everyone

RBC 4tw.
Doesnt get much cheaper then that
Unless you find one of those sites that charge 10/trade, but you have to do at least 30 a year.
I use CIBC Investors Edge. It's $25 per trade.
A friend of mine is with ETrade and he only pays around $8/trade. He does trade more often than I do but I'm thinking of transferring my stuff to ETrade to save money.

RBC is lowering its price sometime in May to $9.95 a trade. But I think you have to trade at least 30 times as well.

RBC is $9 a trade if you do a minimum of 30 trades per quarter

I use investors edge as well... probably won't change until I start trading more seriously.

Actually that came into effect in March. If you make 30 trades a quarter across all your accounts you qualify for $14.95. I think you have to make over 150 a quarter to qualify for $9.95.
I user TDW and it costs $14.95 per trade. :)
Even at $29.00 a trade with TDW I was pretty happy. Go research materials are provided and I like the easy access to withdraw/deposit at any local branch. When using Scott/ETrade/Quest/Etc you have to send a check or wire usually which costs money as well and isn't as quick.
