At about 12:30 PM to 6:00PM my car was broken into near the university(the church lot accross from the stadium). If anyone knows of someone trying to selling a pioneer dolphin deck, rockford hx2 12 inch sub and rockford amp please let me know. My rudsack leather jacket and book of cd's were also stolen. Does anyone know if I can still claim this under insurance if i no longer have the receipts?

Sorry to hear that!

I dont see why you couldnt claim it on your insurance?

Might be a little hard to claim since you don't have receipts..but if you had pictures of them, you should be fine.

why not just call your insurance company and find out??

deductibles would likely be more than the value of the items stolen + insurance would probably increase. Not really worth claiming.

If your deductible is cheap , then go for it.

Also call up the local pawn shops.

These guys knew what they were doing, not a scratch on my key hole or nothing. Called insurance and my deductable is pretty cheap, I just have to wait to consult my agent and see if my premiums will go up.

Depends on your Insurer. As said before, the deductible will probably be more than the value. When I worked as an adjuster, if you did not have a receipt, there was an automatic 50% reduction in value.

Also, the jacket and Cd's are NOT covered under the claim. That is personal property.

Good luck man

Anything not physically attached to the car is only covered by your house insurance.
