It's like we're talking in code here. I didn't read the Herald, are you guys saying he'll be the next Premier of Alberta?

Yes, that is what they are referring to. He is easily the most high-profile candidate.

Believe me, Preston Manning will not be "Toma's way."

What, Manning couldn't get into the PM's house so now he is settling for the Premier's house?

I thought he said he was done with politics.

Awww, that's so sweet. Someone who still believes what politicians say.

Manning is very charismatic, despite his voice. He's also very smart but he'll have a hard time shaking off the problem with his old age (by the time the leadership campaign is over, he'll be 64 years old) and the conception he gained during the formation of the reform party.

Wow, Preston Manning would be a terrible choice - I cant believe they are even considering this. The guy should just stay retired.

Manning has charisma and integrity...something no one else has, and WHY they had to sabotage the reform party to remove him as a threat....

ahhh...politics ;)

If its "Toma's" way or not. Perhaps its just some sort of natural defence to disagree with Toma. Perhaps something simliar to flinching when one is going to get kicked in the nuts...... just a defence mechanism developed over time. Either way.... you know its going to hurt.
