Don't suppose you have the Lightwave 100 (http://www.monstercable.com/monstergame/ps2/productPagePS2.asp?pin=1300) Audio cable that goes for them for sale by chance?

I got the 300, but have always wanted to add the digital audio.

Any optical digital cable will work. Even a cheap one.

They both have analog audio. The Lightwave 100 isn't all that special (I know, I have the xbox version).

IS there that much of a difference.

Just curious.

I am just using the RCA outputs from my PS2 right now but I do have an S-video connector on my 51" Sony.

Is there a much clearer picture ???

Quality is as follows

Best - component
Better - S-Video
okay - RCA
worst - Cox

I'd say s-video is WAY better than RCA... and component is a good jump from s-video.

if your going on a 51" tv then go component if possible

Don't know if it supports component...

Ita an older Sony trinitron Rear Projection I bought off a buddy last fall.

It does have S-video on the front next to the RCA jacks I plug into.

Have to dig out the manual tonight and see I guess.

I would bet that it's got component... even my old RCA that just died on me after 6 years had component.
