somehow i can't get my nero7 to burn music cds from mp3s
keeps saying i don't have the plugin
but i've installed like a ton of plugin packs for it~

the best FREE program is itunes. it will burn audio cds and mp3 cds

If u have the newer service pack for windows when u stick in a blank CD you can just drag and drop songs onto it
works pretty well tho i always get bad quaility when it comes
out

can u make different folders on a cd with nero or do you have to put em all on the same folder?

Yes, Nero can do it...but afaik you have to organize the MP3's into the folders before you import them, not create them on the fly after mass importation. What are you playing them back on? If it's a car/home player, are you sure it's compatible with folder playback?

I like to use EAC "Exact Audio Copy" mostly because of its awesome error correction. I recently went through all my cd's (only about 100 or so) and backed them all up into mp3's.... lots of these cd's are from my highschool days and have many a scratch. eac will fix them, it re-reads the data many times, but eventualy fixes the data loss. I remember 1 cd that had 2 whole tracks skip, sure it took the program 4hrs, but restored the audio to perfect form...

Otherwise Nero gets my vote for simplicity.
