Currently enrolled in chem engineering going on to 3rd year and I want to take a complementary studies course this spring.

Does anyone know any easy GPA boosters in the faculty of humanities, communication and culture or social sciences?

Have you taken your COMS361 or COMS363 course yet? Those are required - might as well take on - they are easy A's. Or try ENGL231...

SOCI 201 is pretty easy...GRST 209 is as well. Of course, it really depends on your prof, but those two were pretty straight foward classes.

Take SOCI 201, that class is pretty easy. Also you have to take ENGG 481 in the summer with Dr. Catania instead of taking it during Winter with Macnab. Macnab is an ass, he'll test you on when the printing press was invented and stuff like that.

Those 2 are your best complimentary options and good GPA boosters.

A lot of the 300 level Arky courses are very easy, especially the ones without prereq's. I'm not sure on the course numbers for all of them but the Maya course, Inca course(anyone taught by Raymond I find really easy) and 325 Ancient Civilizations.
I thought Geog 361(?) Cultural geography was really easy.

Geology is a Science (ie. not in the Humanities, Social Sciences, or C&C faculties).

The easiest choice here is probably PSYC 205, but the economics intro courses would probably be the most complimentary as previously mentioned.

Soci 201 with Manzo or Henderson is pretty easy or take Rost 299 with Naylor

most engg ppl take econ 201/203 since most of the topics are already covered in econ/engg 209

Coms 201 this summer is going to be a "Podcasted" class, meaing that you download 2 lectures a week and listen to them, all you have to go to is a tutorial on thursdays.

correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think coms201 is acceptable as an option.....i know engg takes coms363 as an option, but i don't remember coms201 being allowed.....that might've changed tho'......if so, u should take it, it sounds easy :thumbsup: hehe
