don't let the 1.1GHz fool you, this thing is faster than my desktop which is a P4 2.53.

My price is very reasonable. The base model sells for 1630.00 at Dell. Mine is not the base model as the RAM is 768mb. That is a 300 dollar upgrade.

If you are not interested read the rules and don't post in my thread.

I'll let it go for 900.00. Take a look at the pics. Absolutely mint! Awesome for school because its tiny (its what I used it for).

Does it have a PCMCIA slot for a serial port card?

It sure does look like it has a pcmcia slot... what laptop doesn't have one?! Plus you can always get a usb serial adapter.

That slot in the pic is a Compact Flash slot :D

But yes! You can get a USB to serial adapter, I think that would be the best way to go.

Ah.... I guess he could get a CF serial adapter as well... although I think they're pretty expensive. :)

-Got a couple questions, I was just out trying to find a laptop in that size range

Do you happen to still have all the packaging, receipts and software? When was it purchased?

And although there's 7 mo remaining, can I extend the warranty through Dell?

Couldnt tell in the pic, but is the combo drive external?

it is an external combo drive (not pictured).

I have most of the original packaging, there are some small things that I threw out like the cushioning from the box but that's about it. I've got the warranty transfer paper all ready and I've got all the books, software, etc! I'm not sure if you can extend the warranty... laptop was purchased about 5 months ago. Nov I believe.
