Hey

I'm looking at a new 2006 Subaru Impreza 2.5i Sport in an automatic. I need to get an idea how much room they have to negotiate before I buy one. If anyone has an idea how much room they can move and what type of accessories they can throw in or discount please let me know.

I know that I can get the grad rebate of $750, but how much more can I get from the dealership

Thanks:thumbsup:

Negotiate from Dealer price up:

Here you go (just cuz I am being nice and already paid for this info)

MSRP on RS sport automatic is: $28,985

Dealer cost: $26,465
Freight and Pdi is $1,195 for both so this is what I would do

Start at 26,465 + 500 bux profit + 1195 pdi + 7% gst and have them waive all the other little fees. This should save you about 2 grand.

Good luck

Where did you get this msrp and dealer cost quote from? doses your msrp have the taxes included? Just wondering cuz I get lower price when doing it online. Is your quote for a 2006 2.5i sport(hatchback) auto? Thanks for info

Here is what I work out:
msrp: $24,595
freight+pdi: 1,495
air tax: 100
total:$26,190 +taxes

Accessories I want:
block heater: $35.91
rear roof spoiler: 400
splash guards: 156
Total accessories:$592.97 + installation costs??

Total $26,782 +taxes ($28,657 with taxes)

Oh I took the wrong model sorry.

Dealer cost on that model is $22,890

That does not include gst or msrp or any fees

So start with $22,890 and add 500 for profit + freight/pdi + all the options you want (try to get them to thow some of those in or at a discount) + GST.

Freight and Pdi should only be $1,295!!!

I got these costs from Car Cost Canada website.

Hey Aleks

Do you happen to have a print out from Car Cost Canada for the model I'm interested in? Let me know that would be great if you can fax or email me a copy.

Thanks:)
