Yo! anyone played Tourist Trophy for playstation? the only thing as good as the graphics is the realistic handling. the only thing i've done more than ride my bike the last two weeks is play this game...the only game i can remember being this glued to was Gran Turismo. What a surprise, I come to find that it's made by the same guys. tell me what you guys think of it...i usually wait for games to prove themselves on reviews and such but this is worth buying RIGHT NOW.

What an Awesome game. played it on Saturday night at a friends house all boozed up on the sauce. had a blast! I like that it has some of the same tracks from the GT series too.

I might have to buy a cheap PS2 so I can get this game at home..

Sold my bike last summer. This is the only thing keeping me from from going nutz.

By far the best game I have played for the PS2, although I only like sports games, and racing ones.

LOVE the game...thanks to CivicDXR I had to go out and buy it.

I love how you use all the GT tracks...but on a bike...all the lines you have developed are garbage...new lines, new braking points....man I love TT...

I've been playing the new street bike sim for PS2 (Tourist Trophy) for the last two weeks and I can't put it down. It was definitely hard at first because of how realistic it was. The actual bikes are amazing too. Let me know what you guys think of the game.

Sorry, too much videogaming during finals week. The messageboard is on the game's website:

http://www.us.playstation.com/Content/OGS/SCUS-97502/Site/

There's a ton of good screens and stuff there too, including a trailer for the game.

'course, if you have the game you don't need to see the trailer, but it's still pretty.

the games awesome, but its very simple, well i havent played it long but its not like turismo where you can buy your "cars" you play races and you win the bikes, its alot simpler then turismo which was disapointing to me.

but it is fun.

Amazing shot!

I picked up a copy, but haven't got a chance to play it yet. Is it the same deal like GT4 where you have to acquire special liscences? I imagine that they'd have some sort of tutorial mission or something? Thanks.

just like Gran Turismo but with bikes. The license modes are not only cool because they unlock items but it helps you get a lot better at the game. messing around with the braking and stuff helps you drift and corner better. found a good messageboard (://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board?board.id=touristtrophy) that helped me out early on. sweet screen shots so far...

you have to go to 'best photo shots' after your race and then select which pics you like and save them to your memory card or a flash drive.

found a good messageboard (http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board?board.id=touristtrophy) with a sweet website to learn more about the game. great for those having trouble with the difficulty level.

believe me, I had the same trouble when i started out. It is REALLY frustrating but once you get the hang of it, it's worth it. The license mode helped me but also callibrating the braking power and such to get better cornering helps. Try using automatic transmission too so you don't have to worry about shifting. I'm no expert but try this messageboard (http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board?board.id=touristtrophy) for some pointers.

Yup, just get a buddy who hasn't played it before either and play some arcade mode and 2 on 2. Once you get the hang of it, you'll laugh at how you were frustrated at first.

The Challenge Mode is a lot of fun. It's great for learning the basics and getting the hang of the game. It get's a bit trickier when you move up into the bigger bikes....the high speeds make braking and cornering tough. But, it makes the game so interesting. Best $50 ever spent and a must have for any PS2 owner.

I found GT4 to be WAY to long. TT never gets old and it doesn't take long to complete it.

Agreed, the game is fantastic! Just like GT4 though, my machine isn't in the game :(

I had a hell of a time getting used to the control coming from GT4 because the shift buttons are different and I kept either pumping the rear brake or tucking instead of shifting.

I've reset the controller so upshift and downshift are L1 and L2 and rear brake and tuck are R2 and R1. Much easier to switch back and forth from GT4 now.
