Im sorry, i have nothing against the chinese, but sometimes, they do things a little bit fucked up for my taste.

"In March, China said it would ban the sale of human organs..."

"One liver fo frive dora. Three fo tein."

I see nothing wrong with harvesting organs from executed prisoners.... Instead of worm food, it becomes usefull...

But yeah... no shit, my chicken fried rice came in that container last night

Life is cheap in China. Who gives a fuck about some dude with no kidneys, or 1 million displaced by a dam, or 70 million starved out when you have 999 million more?

"The British Transplantation Society says an accumulating weight of evidence suggests the organs of thousands of executed prisoners in China are being removed for transplants without consent."

I think they might be focusing on the wrong issue here.

IF these are legitimate executions, then what right does the prisoner have to deny his organs from someone that needs them?

IF these are NOT legitimate executions, then why are we so hung up about the organs? Don't you think that there are bigger issues here?

It is not written in chinese law that they have the right to take any human beings organs after death without that persons cooperation, regardless of social status.

In China, money can buy you anything. Everyone has a price, and anything that can make money, they'll do it. What the hell is ethics in China? haha The only reason they are taking corrective measures is because they are entering the world stage and probably don't want to get ridiculed by Western nations. Behind back doors they probably still don't give a shit.

why is it we harvest meat for food and that is fine... just dont let me see the cow. then, on the other hand, china gets smart and gives a desprately needed 'harvest' to the world and everyone thinks its bad. how bout the people that were killed by the donors? were these people not lost for nothing? at least the good for nothin killers are somewhat useful. if i was goin to the hospital once a week for dialysis. missing one appiontment means i die. i couldnt care less where my replacement comes from. i would be very thankful for it.

just a thought, to me this is almost as retarded as the big debate about stem cell research!

also, the fact that society took away the mans right to life. why should we not use the right to use his body to do some good. because its humaine? this word is usless if you believe in capital punishment.

thanks for show the link! good topic :)

Fine, so make it legal.

But as they said in the article, they were denying taking organs from prisoners less than a week before.

I'm sure that won't happen though, because if you are some prison warden with the political and legal and illegal connections you would need to get that position with, why would you want someone else cutting in on your service and products? So keep it illegal, keep it secret, and keep making money from yet another corrupt chinese business.

Isn't the combination of a free market economic system and a communist totalitarian political system great?

Yup, the growing economic disparity between ultra rich and cave dwelling poverty in china is just silly. But what is it called? It's the great chinese economic miracle. That same kind of increasing disparity happens in Zimbabwe and what do we call it? A failing state. That's some mean PR, fo sho.
