Saw this car yesterday at Dalhousie, doesn't look too bad. At least it's done up nicely and does not look cheap even though you would have to question his taste with spoilers.

Anyone ever see a old red daytona or mustang with a cardboard spoiler and hood scoope that was duct taped to the car?? This was a while ago, but that one would take first place for ugliness.

Okay I have some things to add so its time I replied to this thread.
First off when I saw that pic and heard everybody dissing the spiler I figured it isnt that bad. It actually suite the car and looks half decent right.

We'll I saw the car today in dalhousie and its ridiculous. You can't even tell how large the spoiler trully is without seing it in person. It is far beyond ridiculous I mean even for a drift wing.

anyways I managed to snap 2 pictures before the guy came out then I took off in my cleaner... less ridiculous prelude :D

anyways sorry I didn't get a full on side body shot, I was drawn to the wing and the interior * which is quite nice *

anyways enjoy the pictures guys!.

actually to give the guy props because he is a buddy of mine his names warren and he is a black dude in the silver grand am, he is the first one in Calgary to have that bodykit which cost about 5G's for it all including the spoiler. he meticulously painted all of his interior himself it looks dam professional and he reeeeeally takes care of his car. he spent alot of time and money into this car the exhaust doesnt look like that ridiculous one that the white one has and he has no decals. he, just like most of us take pride in their cars, who are any of us to judge any other beyonders car on a public site? what kind of enthusiasts are you to bash someones car? I've only seen the one without the decals. The following is my opinion only, as the only thing that matters is that he likes his car the way it is. The wing is so big, its higher than the roof of the car by far. In my opinion its the most hideous thing I have ever seen. If it is actually made decently enough to produce downforce, he is likely making indents in the pavement where ever he drives. You know when right before an intersection there are those ruts in the pavement? My guess is that car was unleashing all 140 horses in an intense top speed run through that intersection.

I personally think it is stupid to cosmeticly alter a $8000 car to the extent of $5000 body kits, etc., because when he goes to sell it, it is still a grand am, and a domestic car to boot and maybe will see 10% of the money or less that he invested back. That being said, if the wing stays on the car he won't have to worry about anyone ever wanting to buy it when he's done. Or he could sell it to the calgary airport - perhaps they could reverse the wing for lift and it could fly the shorter routes, like from calgary to edmonton.

Anyways, he has every right to take pride in his car, and even install a larger wing if he wants, (not sure that's possible, he may have to contact Boeing for the part #). Just as we have every right to state our opinions about the car on a public forum.

ugly or not this car is serously awesome, only because the guys who worked on the car.. i forget the shop that i seen this at but those guys had sweet show cars, 06 mustang, old 600+ charger, camaro, mustang, chevelle ss, these cars were sweet, the old guys there were extremely knowledgeable, and they had a dyno, rice or not, but who worked on the motor knew what they were doing
