Is there a place in Calgary that does work on *Just* JDM engines

I know to some of you this maybe a retarded question, but if you can answer please do so. As the title says, any places in Calgary that *just* work on Jdm engines. I know that the flaming is going to be starting by soime users, but if there is some people on the board that can help that would be great...Thanks...

An engine is a engine!!! The only thing that might be and issue is parts availbility, but if ppl in town can get a gasket kit for a 25 year old lambo there shouldn't be a problem with something as rare and exotic as a JDM honda.

The short answer - NO.

There isn't enough 'JDM' engines in Calgary for it to be profitable, nor is there any real difference between a JDM engine and a USDM engine.

Wouldnt make much of a difference. Most imports in the cityhave engines designed after, or almost identical too JDM engines. Ask around with freinds to find a shop they trust and use regularly. Theres alot of dis-honest shops out there, choose wisely.

but what someone said, an engine is an engine. Its just parts availability thats the issue. Any factory trained mazda/toyota/honda/nissan tech should be able to do great work, with any given engine from any manufac. they've been trained on.
