May Photo Meet

So who's in for the next photo meet? There seemed to be a bit of interest in going to the zoo before, so now that the weather's nicer, it might be a good place to hit up.

Since SCN is on May 6th, maybe May 7th may be a more suitable date? Or even push it to the following weekend.

As usual, other ideas are always welcomed.

Is Heritage Park gonna be open by then? or is it later it May.. I can't recall..

A camera is only as good as the person behind it. Your sony will work just fine :)

I was hoping so too.. its nice weather, I really thought we would have a better group.. I will be out shooting on Saturday so I am not gonna be devastated if this doesn't happen this weekend.. and the weekend after this is the Spring Cruise, where I am sure lots of ppl will bring there camera's. We can have a mini meet out at the "Photoshoot" locations in Banff:dunno:

uh... they shipped the baby hippo back to it's parents... I want to say the zoo in quebec.
Turns out the hippos we have here are the baby hippo's grandparents.


Comic Con is Sunday at the round up otherwise I'd love to show up because it is the zoo.

I was also planning to shoot at the zoo after I picked up a better zoom lens.
(Canon 70/75-300 f4.5-5.6 USM IS or Canon L series 70-200 IS F2.8? $800 vs $2100?)

Looks like there is quite a bit of interest, too bad many of you can't make it. I have no problems rescheduling for another time, especially if that means more participants. It'd probably work out better for me as well...
