Decent truck, was gonna be a nice project but I came across another vehicle to work on and I am running out of money fast. $2000
The Good
Decent body, very little rust
Old cool truck.
spare 5 speed tranny
Custom intake for the duel carbs
Great compression on cylender 1,2 and 4
Good Tires
Compustar alarm/starter

The Bad
Cylender #3 rings are blown
minor rust under the cab
Automatic (have a 5 speed for it)
Wheels are ugly and rusty
Millage unknown
l16 engine

How much would it cost to have the rings replaced?
Aside from the rings, does the truck run well? Reliable?
Any accidents?

Truck runs great.. Approxamatly $350 to repair, This truck is a perfect project for a ka24 engine as they just about bolt right in. Never been in an accident, Very reliable truck havnt had any problems with it other than the rings and a bad alternator. I have replaced the alternator last year.

I can't find any info on swapping the KA24 in. It's a PR620 right?

And I'm not familiar with the KA24 engine, any potential in it?
