Things to check out in BC?

Hey I was just wondering what are some good spots to check out in BC (southern BC, everything from the Kootenay's to Vancouver Island).

I am starting to plan a roadtrip that im going on with some buddies and was just wondering what are some must see spots and/or events that will be happening in August.


p.s. anyone know if theres any car shows/meets in August in Vancouver?

The place you want to head to check out the trees is called cathedral grove, it is incredible. I also reccomend long beach / Tofino, it's on the west side of the island.

Mission is pretty nice. I was there in late april and it was so beautiful. All green and nice while Calgary was still yellow... :(

Just park your car downtown in the west end, and spend 2 days walking around, tons of good clubs/malls/restaurants.

There's a really good sushi place, damned if I can remember the name though. It's on the second story of a building, and if you didn't know it was there, you'd walk right by it.

Grr. This is gonna bug me till I remember it now.

Anyways it's good all you can eat style, with little bbq's on every table too, and there's these tables that are inside boats and stuff. Good food.

I find mission a dump...surrey is just sluts over sluts...you go to a bar youre getting laid in that part of town...stop in at kelowna...now thats a place and kokanne brewer plant. creston, sunripe plant in kelowna...cool stuff...try out there drinks and what not.
