I need something that will allow me to install a laptop HD into a desktop. I do not know what it is called, so if anyone knows please post and ill edit the thread. Thanks!

Are you looking to install it temporarly or permanently? If it's just to hook it up all you need is a laptop IDE adaptor. Memory express and almost any other computer store should sell them.

Although... why would you permanently mount a laptop hard drive in a desktop? Desktop drives are much faster and cheaper.

Thaco is right - space is an issue in my case, plus I have a spare 80gig laptop HD sitting here and doing nothing. I'd rather rig in a laptop HD than buy a new case etc.
