There's ground control coilovers AND eibach sportline lowering springs? And why was the tranny replaced?

IIRC this is a considerable price drop! :)

Most likely because the 2000-2001 GTS tranny has very narrow shift gates. 2002+ have wider shift gates, eliminating the likelyhood of mis-shifts when your going for 4th gear. He's baller enuff to get all those mods, so he prob got a new tranny while he was at it haha ;)

I'm guessing the synchros went on it - seventh gen celicas are known to have issues with the synchros wearing out quite quickly. This seems like a very high price, just wondering what the justification is.
