I'm getting myself into automotive photography and was wondering if anybody had a camera mount for a car? I'm interested in experimenting with that kind of setup to see what kind of pics I could get.

If you're wondering what im talking about its usually some sort of tripod that hooks to the corner of a car with high power suction cups or something, then you can have 'rolling shots of the car from diff angles

Do you or anybody else own one? I cannot afford $3500 for the whole kit.

Make your own...

Get a couple suction cups w/ loops for attachments. cut your own bars and use any ballhead you choose.. could probably build one for.... hmmm... $300 I'm guessing..:) It would take some imagination.. but can be done..

If I had tons of spare time I'd build a frame mounted system. Some of the rolling shots can look so amazing.

This one is only $585US:

Most people who develope their own kit never share it with anyone. That's why I have not been able to steal anyone's design!
Maybe this summer I'll make something. I need a work shop with tools and materials.
