I was driving down crowchild last night and a 5th gen prelude comes up from behind and I thought it was a stock prelude at first so i ignored it untill I saw the rear and it had a big exhust and a spoon badge and I haven't heard about a prelude with a engine made by spoon in calgary. Plus i have seen a white 4th gen prelude in calgary with a spoon badge as well. is someone just selling spoon badges or are there a pre preludes with engines produced by spoon in calgary.

while I am at it I keep seeing SLK's on john laurier. yesturday I saw rage with his black one, a yellow slk and i keep seeing this white one with rims in arbour lake.

What exactly do you guys mean by a "spoon prelude"? I thought Spoon didn't make much for the Prelude?

they indeed do not. I believe the only Prelude specific part they make are strut bars.

They also make brakes and mirrors!

How does the SPOON Sports Computer work?
http://www.modacar.com/Merchant2/spoon_computer_honda_files/spoon_ecu.jpg
Spoon Sports Computer for S2000. Spoon Sports is one of the premiere Japanese companies focused on Hondas. Just about all their products have been tried and tested on race tracks from the world over. A small company for sure, but one every bit as committed (if not more) as the larger ones. If you want to extract every single ounce of available power and handling out of your Civic, Integra or S2000 then Spoon Sports is the way to go. (Special Order)

The thing is 1900USD!
How much power can you get? Is it like Hondata?

as far as I know, the Spoon Sports ECU is not programmable (unless it comes wiht some sort of a programming device). But it is an ECU with the same fuel settings as their race prepped Spoon S2k. IMO unless you have the same mods as their car, the ECU won't be used at maximum potential. I bet you can find the same ECU on ebay for like $20 haha. But if your going to spend that much money on an ECU, I'd like some tunability in the thing.

I used a Spoon ECU for most of the summer, basically its a stock ECU with a SPoon chip, it basically tunes your fuel and timing , my car did run a bit smoother oh yes and a higher redline 8000RPM

ya, I though spoon didn't make much for the prelude but I have seen a few preludes with either prelude Type R badges or spoon badges running around calgary. before someone said that there are a few preludes with accord R engines running around calgary. I don't know the prelude I saw didn't gain to much ground on me when I saw it. Probably just a spoon badge.

Spoon stickers are for cars with Spoon engines\Performance parts. (shift knobs don't count) just my opinion.
