I hate doing it, but I need a change. So up for sale goes my beautiful Saab.

Its a 1996 Saab 900SE. 2.0L turbo. Almost perfectly stock with only VERY tasteful mods done such as autometer ultra-lite 2 1/16" boost gauge in place of headlight switch (headlights automatic anyway), removed turbo silencer, and thats about it.

Its been run on 100% mobil 1 synthetic since I got it. Now here are the options.

2.0L turbo 5 speed
BLACK LEATHER INTERIOR (nice)
Power Moon roof
telescopic steering wheel
SID information center (fuel mileage, distance til empty, temperature, mechanical problems, clock etc etc)
Digital HVAC controls
Headlight wipers
16" wheels with 2 brand new tires on the front
Power everything
Factory Alarm & Remote entry
Folding rear seats for HUGE cargo area if needed
Heated Leather seats front AND rear
6 disc CD changer mounted in trunk
cruise control etc etc.

It has pretty much every option you could possibly imagine. Seriously. Its a Saab afterall.

As for the problems........
It has a small crease in the driver side fender by the wheel well. Basically the "lip" that sticks out towards the bottom has a little dent. Not sure what it was from as it was there when I bought the car. Its not too bad tho.

Currently the check engine light is on due to a faulty front O2 sensor (verified by my OBDII reader). I'd repair this prior to selling or trading the car.

Cant really think of anything else wrong with it. I love the car and its "luxury" type ride but its just not really my style.

Im the second owner of the car. The first owner was a middle aged man in BC. I had the car brought over to Alberta and had an out of province inspection done on it in January and it passed (obviously).

It doesnt smoke from the turbo and pulls pretty damn strong once you hit 2nd & 3rd gear. 1st and second gear max out at 11-12psi. 3rd -5th gears max at 15-15.5psi. With a simple MBC+A you can have 15.5psi in all gears, but speed/power wasnt really a big thing for me so I never bothered getting one.

Ideally, Im looking for a 96-2002 S10 or Sonoma for trade. Im interested in any 1/4 ton 4x4 (or MAYBE not 4x4) thats in decent shape. Stepside preferred.

I'd also be interested in trading straight up for a fairly new low mileage bike (R6, Gixxer 600-750, CBR F4i etc).

NEW PRICE $7500 firm. 163,000 km's now.

Back to the top, and $7500 FIRM takes it.

I paid $10k for it 6 months ago. I can only take so much of a loss. I dont need 3 vehicles taking up space tho.

I am still willing to work out a deal with your car and cash for my truck.... let me know if you are interested...

Unfortunately I already have too many vehicles and thats why I need to get rid of this one. Unless its a bike, I dont really have the space for it.

Any offers?

Brakes were squealing so I replaced the front brakes today. They were fine and had lots of material, but probably a poor quality pad.

Also bought rear pads but they were brand new when I checked them so I'll be returning those.

O2 sensor will be fixed tomorrow or the day after. Ive already got the replacement sensor. Just gotta install it.

Also replaced a burnt out fog light bulb this morning.

BUMP!

Replaced the front o2 sensor this morning. Check engine light is GONE. :poosie:

Gonna try to do the rear brake pads tomorrow. Just gotta pickup a hardware kit to go along with it.

BUMP! Still $7500 firm. Its what I owe on the car. I paid $10k in January and I've replaced:

2 tires (brand new)
Front brake pads
O2 sensor
Autometer Boost Gauge (ultra-lite series)
Fog light bulb

And I dont even know what else. Im taking a huge hit on the car, but I need it out of my driveway more than I need a 5th vehicle in the household.

STILL FOR SALE. Will be listed in some other sources this week so grab it at this price while you can.

Also replaced are:
Rear brake pads

Just changed the oil again. Always used nothing but the best (mobil 1 synthetic).

Now has 164,000km's on it and is VERY reliable.

$7500

OR, still willing to trade for a newer crotch rocket or truck/SUV.

One last bump.

New price, $7000 even until September 15th, then the price goes back up. Some unexpected expenses came up, so I need this car gone.

Car also has a new cone filter put on in the last little while. BPV and turbo are much more noticeable now, but not annoying. I still have the stock hardware incase its too loud for your tastes.

I also have some newer pictures. PM me for the new pics.

I can assure you this car is in great shape and definately not a liability. If you dont want to buy it, screw off.

If I wanted to "dump it", I could. If it doesnt sell for what I want, I'll keep it. I love the car. Just cant drive it for a long time due to an upcoming shoulder surgery.

Well, still have the car. Haha. Havent driven it in....oh atleast 3 weeks now. And only for a couple days. Before that it sat for another 3 weeks while I was gone for work. I feel bad. This thing is meant to be driven.

Only issues with the car are its occasionally a bit of a pain to start when its hot (replacement starter is waiting for install. I'll try to get it done between Dec 1-7th when Im at home.

And the airbag light is on from the battery being disconnected. I didnt take it to the dealer to have it turned off because I was planning on disconnecting the battery again to replace the starter, lol.

Other than that, its a gem. Like I said before, I paid $10k for it in January. I just dont need 2 cars. I'd rather have a truck or a bike, and I promised myself I would buy a bike for christmas.

Oh, also the drivers side a-pillar trim piece needs to have new fabric glued onto it.

Thats all I can think of.

BUMP.

Burnt out foglight? Thats really about it.

Oh, and the airbag light is on because the battery was disconnected when the starter was replaced. I'd get that fixed before I sold it to anyone. Nothing wrong with it, just need a tech II to turn it off (dealer).
