I hate doing it, but I need a change. So up for sale goes my beautiful Saab.
Its a 1996 Saab 900SE. 2.0L turbo. Almost perfectly stock with only VERY tasteful mods done such as autometer ultra-lite 2 1/16" boost gauge in place of headlight switch (headlights automatic anyway), removed turbo silencer, and thats about it.
Its been run on 100% mobil 1 synthetic since I got it. Now here are the options.
2.0L turbo 5 speed
BLACK LEATHER INTERIOR (nice)
Power Moon roof
telescopic steering wheel
SID information center (fuel mileage, distance til empty, temperature, mechanical problems, clock etc etc)
Digital HVAC controls
Headlight wipers
16" wheels with 2 brand new tires on the front
Power everything
Factory Alarm & Remote entry
Folding rear seats for HUGE cargo area if needed
Heated Leather seats front AND rear
6 disc CD changer mounted in trunk
cruise control etc etc.
It has pretty much every option you could possibly imagine. Seriously. Its a Saab afterall.
As for the problems........
It has a small crease in the driver side fender by the wheel well. Basically the "lip" that sticks out towards the bottom has a little dent. Not sure what it was from as it was there when I bought the car. Its not too bad tho.
Currently the check engine light is on due to a faulty front O2 sensor (verified by my OBDII reader). I'd repair this prior to selling or trading the car.
Cant really think of anything else wrong with it. I love the car and its "luxury" type ride but its just not really my style.
Im the second owner of the car. The first owner was a middle aged man in BC. I had the car brought over to Alberta and had an out of province inspection done on it in January and it passed (obviously).
It doesnt smoke from the turbo and pulls pretty damn strong once you hit 2nd & 3rd gear. 1st and second gear max out at 11-12psi. 3rd -5th gears max at 15-15.5psi. With a simple MBC+A you can have 15.5psi in all gears, but speed/power wasnt really a big thing for me so I never bothered getting one.
Ideally, Im looking for a 96-2002 S10 or Sonoma for trade. Im interested in any 1/4 ton 4x4 (or MAYBE not 4x4) thats in decent shape. Stepside preferred.
I'd also be interested in trading straight up for a fairly new low mileage bike (R6, Gixxer 600-750, CBR F4i etc).
NEW PRICE $7500 firm. 163,000 km's now.
