Intercooler for sure. This is a brand new sled from Yamaha. Yamaha has had 4 strokes out for a few yrs now and 75% of the one I see in the mountains have been turbo'ed/intercooled.
12-16psin on pump gas.

The ones that Yamaha have been making for a few years are 1000cc's and make massive power (270hp+) but are not especially light or agile.

This one is a 500cc 4-stroke (only 80hp stock) and is very light. Unlike NA 2-stroke sleds, it's hp not heavily impacted by the elevations mountain riders ride at.
