you are better off staying away from FUTURE SHOP AND BEST BUY when buying hard drives mainly because of the warranty. the retail packaged drives sold at these chain stores only come with a 1 yr wrty. i bought one 2 yrs ago a maxtor 40gig and after 1yr 2 months i started getting CRC errors on the drive ( drive is screwed). buy from places like memory express. where you can get 5yr manufacturer wrty from brands such as Seagate. for usually a cheaper price
