I just got hired on with Star Choice eves/weekends. They're hiring a lot, but they might be finished their hiring spree. It's good money for slack work so maybe give it a shot.

Yep inbound CSR... I had Brenda on Saturday and Carrie this week. They really annoy me... they're nice, but they annoy me. And the fact that I have to do it in the evening for 4.5 hours after I have already worked a 9 hour day bores and tires the hell out of me. Oh well, once I get on the floor it'll be ok. The perks outweigh not having the job for me lol

I was able to work at Superstore 6pm - 11pm as a second job; wage should be around $10/hour now...

The nice thing is, it's all union. So if you only want to work weeknights, you just put it down and they can't schedule you during then.

basically with part time you have to work a minimum of 25 hours. and you MUST work weekends for 8 hour shifts. basically you can pick your own shifts. it's pretty good -

at star choice for csr its $14.20??? i think.
and tsr starting is $15.20 - with yearly reviews in september for raises.

star choice has been so busy for the past 2 weeks. ITS CRAZY!!!!

all the dsr5xx series receivers are goin haywire!!!!!!!

but still everyone is super nice there - my sup is AWESOME!!!

If you have a reliable car and are interested, how about Chinese food deliveries? I might need someone for Sunday evenings 4:30pm to 8:00pm and possibly other days throughout the week. We deliver in the SE area, Riverbend/Ogden/Lynnwood/Douglas Glen/Dale/Mckenzie Towne/Lake/Cranston. Pay structure is per order and including tips, you make on average of $8+ per order. You also get a free meal too. Really easy work. PM if interested so I can get your contacts.

Sometime's it's very difficult to predict how busy weekdays will be. Other days like Friday/Saturday are a possibility as my current guy may need additional time off because of his hectic schedule. I don't want to hi-jack Speed_69's thread so PM me with any further questions.

yeah applications are through internal
u input cheques and get bonus as incentive when you go above standard (speed)
deductions are made from erros
it's independent, and keeps you going using the incentives
i hate customer service so that's why i like this job

Sears Logistic center is hiring for all shifts. 5:30-2, 7-3:30, 2:30-11 and 6-11 maybe other shift usually must work one weekend day. Starts at $12.00/hr, $12.50 after 3 months, $13.00 after 6 months, $13.50 after 1 year. Loading and unloading trailers simple job if you work hard and can lift heavy stuff. Also looking for forklift/clamp drivers esp. with propane experience. $13.50-14.00-14.50-15.00 progression.
Address is 25 Dufferin Place S.E. Expect an interview and to get hired on the spot. Even better, bring steel toed boots, a SIN card not just a number and a void cheque/bank account number and go to work that day! Mention you were referred by ian McCrimmon and if you make 3 month probation period I get a $250 referral bonus (Sears gift card)-any employee who makes 3 months and refers someone who makes 3 months and you too can make the $250 bonus so refer your friends family if you get hired. (P.S. 2:30-11 shift is the best cuz I'm there!)

I don't know where you work, but it shows you haven't worked in a grocery store in a while.

^Actually I think it's true...i've worked in a grocery store for quite a long time before..and at many times it can be super slack and they are flexible on hours...just depends on which grocery store you work at i guess.

Have you thought about working for an event catering company?

I had a lot of buddies of mine in college who used to do it at the Kennedy Center here in DC (I'm sure there are companies like that near Calgary)...they have super flexible hours (call them when you want to work) and pay pretty well (down here at least...15 and hour)...and its not washing dishes or anything miserable like that. Pretty clean, pleasant part time work....
