also, what exactly is your plan for your car, how can we tell you if lowering springs or coilovers are better for you if we don't know what kind of application you will be using them for or what you want your ride to feel like

slamming it is Lowering it. and uhh i just want the ride to be smooth . not like a stiff n shiz

then get lowering springs, I have heard that coilovers can be stiffer and you feel the road more, however, you may want to confirm this, it's only what i heard

coilovers are stiffer because they actually improve handling. if u just get springs all ure doign is lowering your car and mucking with the suspension geometry AND screwing your handling up cuz the stock shocks dont have full travel.

yeah for sure i want a nice ride . smoooooooth. i have to get new suspesion cuz my factory shit is BLOWN. so uh yeah im thinking the coilovers cuz them rims are pretty big you know 17's

by lowering your car, your looking at way better handling, not a smoother ride. from alot of people that i have talked to and have lowered there car with the intent on getting a smoother ride, there dissapointed. theres really nothing to make it smooth except keep it stock.
IMO.

you want a smoother ride? raise your crx 6 inches, and put on some 195-70-13 tires. Lowering it will make it rougher.

you made it so much easier lol.

what does rim size have to do with whether or not you go with lowering springs or coilovers? oh yeah, it doesn't

well it does if all you care about is looks, coil overs you can slam it as low as you want, springs are more of a generic look.

if you want a "tucked" look or just a bit of gap.

but even still, whether or not I have 16's or 17's the same applies does it not?

well if i had 17's i would want a very tucked look, 16's i could spare a little gap. but thats just me,
