Think about going 250 mph and having the rear end of your car getting all squirelly on you and spinning out at that speed..

I would sacrifice a few MPH to have a stable car at 230mph rather than an unstable one at 250+mph..

They were talking about ethanol, not bio-fuel.

top fuel dragsters run ethanol don't they? Lots of people, especially muscle cars it seems, change out part of their fuel system to make it alcohol compatible for around 100 extra hp. I think it eats rubber seals and shit though:dunno:
