Moving to the bridge next month from montreal (i'm used to 2 to 3 feet of snow during winter) and i was wondering if you can drive a mustang or camaro in the winter on the streets of lethbridge? From the infoi can gather their isnt much snow on the ground so a set of winter tires and i should be good to go.(here i have a beater for the winter because a mustang aint going anywhere in 3 feet of snow). My car is stock and is my daily driver so is it possible to do?

you can drive anything in the winter, if you know what you are doing, except a 300zx thats tricky.

winter tires and not being an idiot and you will do fine

yeah, studded snow tires all around and don't drive like an idiot, you'll be fine.... before the 80's it was rare to have a FWD car, and most of our parents are still alive.

Our parents had rwd with 1950 tire technology and they made it so i should be fine then.I was more curious as to how muchh snow is actually on theground,i was told last winter their was hardly any?

Lethbridge used to have a policy regarding plowing the streets when I lived there-it was called WCF. Wait For Chinook-to melt the snow so they don't have to plow. Don't know if it's changed much-haven't been back for a while. BTW hope you like the wind!!!!

They still use that stupid policy for the residential streets. Fucking annoying, and results in the buildup of ridiculous ice, but it wasn't bad this year because of the mild winter.

My first car was a 1978 cougar with an open diff and bald all seasons.

You'll do fine.

Then it would be WFC :nut: I drove a 240sx in Medicine Hat all winter. I thought it would have been a good idea to drift all autumn and being the poor guy I am, I ended up driving to school with 4 bald tires on ice. It'll just take a little bit longer to get around thats all.
